Anne Greever, Vice-Chair
Anne Gordon Greever, a resident of the City of Richmond since 1976, was appointed as member of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Richmond on October 23, 2006. Her appointment was sponsored by 4th District Councilwoman, Kathy Graziano.
Ms. Greever is a lawyer specializing in labor and employment law and related litigation. She has experience in, among other areas, federal and state litigation, contract drafting and negotiations, executive contracts, personnel disputes, and mediation and arbitration. She retired in 2005 from the law firm of Hunton & Williams, where she had worked for nearly 30 years, including more than 20 years as a partner. She remains Senior Counsel at the firm, but her practice is limited to pro bono work. She presently serves as Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in employment law.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law.
